Learnt To Be Humble

It was a bright and breezy day. Danny was a wealthy businessman who earned fifteen thousand dollars per month. But, he was a snobbish man. One day, he decided to buy a brand new car. He wanted to buy a chilly red car. He was as proud as a peacock when he had finally bought the car. He went around the neighbourhood to brag about his new car. “He is so annoying. I must teach him a lesson!” said Mr Tan, his neighbour.

The next day, Danny woke up early to drive around in his brand new car. He went outside and was shocked to see that his car had been badly vandalised. There were long, ugly scratches on his car. He was flushed with anger when he saw that. “I’m going to find the culprit!” shouted Danny angrily.

He decided to keep a look out. He waited anxiously for someone to approach his car. He waited. And waited. But no one appeared. “I’m not going to give up!” said Danny.

Suddenly, he saw his best friend, Adam, taking a can of spray paint and he started spraying Danny’s car. Danny was mad rage when he saw that. “Adam! I have caught you red-handed!” shouted Danny. Adam’s heart skipped a beat. “I will call the police now!” screamed Danny. “Wait! Before you call the police, I want to tell you something. You are a snobbish man,” said Adam. Danny was taken aback by those words and regretted being a show-off.
