Adopting A Pet

“Ring,” the school bell rang. David and Jason walked home happily. They waved goodbye to their friends.

David and Jason walked past a drain. Suddenly, they heard a mewing sound. “What’s that?” asked Jason excitedly. “I think it is a cat.” said David.

They rushed over to take a closer look. David and Jason saw a beautiful kitten in the drain. David felt sorry for the kitten. He decided to bring it home.

Jason carried the little kitten up gently. He stroked the kitten gently. “My family loves kittens. They would like to have a kitten as their pet,” said David. “Why don’t you adopt the pet then?” asked Jason. David said,” OK. I will try.”
