At The Market

One bright and sunny afternoon, David and his mother went to the market to buy fishes and cabbages. David was overjoyed as it was the first time he went to the market.

First, they went to a vegetable stall to buy some cabbages. David saw some fishes and went nearer to take a closer look. The floor was very wet and slippery but David did not know that. Suddenly, he slipped and fell onto the floor.

He cried for help. David’s mother and a passer-by rushed to his help. They quickly phoned the ambulance. The ambulance arrived and took him to the hospital.

David was put in a cast for two weeks. He missed his mum and was very sad. He promised his mother that he would be more careful in future.
