A Shameful Act


It was a dark and windy night. David was going home from his friend’s house. He passed by a huge bungalow. He saw a apple tree in front of the bungalow. He thought “Mm, those delicious-looking apples will be tasty.” He wanted to steal the apples.

Without wasting a second, he quickly climbed up the tree. Finally, he reached the tree. He was as happy as a lark when he got the apples.

Suddenly, a ferocious-looking dog came out of the huge bungalow. When the dog saw David, it barked loudly at him.

The owner quickly came out of the bungalow. The owner’s face was contorted with rage and fury. He scolded David for stealing the apples. David bent his head in shame. He regretted his actions of stealing the apples.
