A Fire

It was a bright and breezy day. David went for a walk in a park. He took his binoculars with him, as he wanted to see the birds. He found a bench and sat on it. He took his binoculars and watched the beautiful birds flying around. Suddenly, David saw puffs of smoke at his house. His heart skipped a beat.

David rushed to his sister Mary, who was at the supermarket and told her what had happened. When she heard this, she was shocked. Without thinking, Mary called the fire fighters.

They came in five minutes' time. David and Mary told them where their house was. There were billows of smoke puffing out of the top most window of the house. The fire fighters took out their water hose and put out their fire. David and Mary were scared. " We should call our dad and tell this to him," said David.

David called his father and told this to him. His Dad replied” I will be there in twenty- minute’s time.”
“Hmm, I think the blaze did not hurt you did it?” asked David’s dad.
“Not at all!” replied David and Mary.
