The Misery Of Drug Abuse

She did not walk away when her friend asked her to try sniffing the glue. Nicole did not want to disappoint her only friend, Hannah, who had been her best friend all this while.

When Nicole became an orphan a few years ago, Hannah occupied her life. She kept Nicole company at all times. Nicole trusted her very much. Both of them were always together, even during weekends. Nicole’s inability to say ‘No’ to Hannah resulted in her addicted to glue sniffing.

Nicole’s life changed for the worse once she was attached to this drug. She could not focus on her studies anymore. All she wanted was a moment of glue sniffing. Nicole also did not eat well and became weak. Finally, the school came to know of Nicole’s addiction to glue sniffing. They reported the matter to the police. Nicole is now in the rehabitation centre.

My teacher, Miss Cynthia Bong concluded, “Ok class, that’s the story of Nicole who was a victim of glue sniffing. If someone approaches you or offers you a sniff of glue, report this matter to the office immediately. Glue sniffing is bad, so do not ever explore it.” Ms Cynthia Bong’s face was serious when she concluded the story.
